The Art of the Nativity. The infant Jesus, the gentle mother Mary, the steadfast Joseph, the resplendent angels, the shepherds with their lambs, the little manger, the cows and the donkeys ~ this familiar story from the New Testament has generated a priceless heritage of paintings over the ages of Western art. Each year, Professor Fredlund brings new artists and new images for this popular presentation that has become a tradition at the Institute and a wonderful way to enter into the beauty of Christmas!
